• Part Name: Power Window Regulator Assembly (commonly known as "electric window lifter" or "power window mechanism")

• Applicable Models: Mainly suitable for Sinotruk HOWO TX series heavy-duty trucks. Also compatible with some models on HOWO T5G and SITRAK platforms.

• Appearance Features:

  • Metal Base: The main body is a metal stamped bracket used to secure the motor and transmission mechanism and attach to the door sheet metal.

  • Drive Motor: Located in the lower/center area, with a black square electrical connector. Provides lifting/lowering power.

  • Transmission Mechanism: Includes gears and a cable (or plastic tape) drum, converting the motor's rotational motion into linear glass movement.

  • Connection Arms: Metal arms extending from both sides to hold/support the window glass.

2. Function & Role

• Window Lifting/Lowering: Receives electrical signals from the door control switch (or master control switch) to drive the motor forward or reverse, enabling window glass to move up or down.

• Comfort & Convenience: Replaces traditional manual crank windows, significantly improving daily operational convenience — especially reducing fatigue during long-distance driving.

• Safety (Optional): Some higher-end models may include an anti-pinch feature (requires a compatible control module) that prevents injury or damage if an obstacle is detected while the window is closing.

3. Structure & Working Principle

• Components: Includes a DC motor, reduction gear set, cable/drum assembly, guide channels, glass support bracket, and limit switches.

• Working Principle: When pressing the "up" or "down" button, current flows to the motor through the wiring harness. The motor rotates and turns the reduction gears. The reduced power is transmitted to the drum, which winds or unwinds the cable. The cable pulls the glass carrier, moving the glass smoothly along the door's internal guide rails until it reaches the top or bottom limit — where it automatically stops.
